Semasopht was founded in 2002 to commercialise revolutionary object tracking algorithms developed at ETH Zürich. The company was spun off in 2002 with seed capital provided by early adopters. Semasopht was sponsored by the Swiss CTI start-up initiative and received the CTI distinction in 2004. The same year, Semasopht was Laureate of the Prix Lausanne Region Entreprendre. Since then, Semasopht has continuously been at the forefront of dynamic imaging and serves customers among the best laboratories worldwide.
